Is your social media growing stale? Did you start your social media communications without a cohesive social media strategy to guide you? Have you considering working with influencers but you don't know where to start? If so, engage learners from Conestoga College's Bachelor of Communications Management program as your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed.
Learners
Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization.
Some final project deliverables might include:
- A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations
- Potentially, a 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations

Project Examples
Requirements
Learners will work with your company to identify your needs and understand your target audience.
Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Social media internal audit or competitive audit with SWOT analysis and recommendations
- Social media content pillars and 3 month content calendar
- Hashtag research and SEO keyword optimization
- Researching and evaluating influencers to increase your content reach and engagement
- Creating an influencer project brief for pitching to influencers
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.
Provide a dedicated contact person who is available to meet on Kitchener campus for a kick-off session to present the project and address learners’ questions
Provide periodic information and/or data as needed for the project with approximately 48 hours turnaround time.
Provide an opportunity for learners to present their work and receive feedback.
