Students are available for 135 hours of placement from January 2021 to May 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually.

Project Examples
Requirements
Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.
Project examples that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying and writing about sociological theories as they apply to a wide range of everyday interactions and institutions;
- Compare and critique healthcare organizations, systems, and approaches;
- Evaluate the evolution and impact of health programs and healthcare delivery on population health outcomes;
- Develop communication tools for patient, clients, or the general population on issues relating to healthcare;
- Develop a database of useful tools or information for clients or the organizations use;
- Communicate with clients about services offered by a healthcare agency;
- Co-Lead virtual workshops for youth on issues related to health and society
