This project is for any business that is looking for evidence-based ways to reduce employee's stress levels. Stressed-out employees are less productive, less committed and have a higher turnover rate than their lower stressed peers.

Project Examples

Requirements

Students will work together to interview staff, supervisors and management to determine individual and team stressors (causes of stress). After identifying stressors, students will make stress reduction recommendations to the business.

This project may include, but is not limited to:

  • Interview and data collection to determine stress levels of team members;
  • Developing intrinsic motivational strategies such as viewpoints and perspectives that can reduce stress;
  • Developing extrinsic rewards to mitigate the effects of stress.

The resulting content produced by students can be used to improve employee wellness, engagement, motivation and retention.
