The placement is a key part of the program where students build on their professional skills and receive valuable mentorship through real-world employment experience. In partnering with the Career Pathways program, the community partner benefits from working with students with a unique perspective who are reliable, focused, supportive and empathetic, and who possess strong time management skills. It also provides the community partner with exposure to the benefits of neurodiversity in the workplace, reinforcing the importance of diversity, inclusion and belonging.
