3rd and 4th year undergraduate business management (BBA) students working in 3-6 person teams will conduct research and develop an actionable strategy to solve a leadership development or training challenge faced by your organization, stakeholders, and/or clients. For example, they can design leadership training programs incorporating the latest virtual and in-person design features and gamification ideas. They can providing leadership competency maps that could align with current or novel performance management systems for companies.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

3-6 person teams of students will make 15 minute in person/virtual synchronous team presentations and provide speaking notes, slide decks, and training materials when relevant

Requirements

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Develop leadership skills training programs using games, experiential and virtual learning methods
  • Develop leadership competency maps and align with current or novel performance management systems

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for an initial virtual meeting with the professor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Provide a dedicated contact who is available for attending ~8 student team presentation sessions (~ 2-2.5 hours) and ask Q&A (2-5 min per team)

Provide relevant company or industry data as needed per the description of the project (either in a virtual session and/or with ppt slides)

Virtually (or in person) attend final student team presentations sessions that involve 15 min/ presentation, 8 teams/session, 5 min employer q&a with student teams
