Looking to improve your marketing? Bring on learners from Bow Valley College to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.


Learners in this program are gaining skills in digital media creation (photo, video, audio), marketing strategy, technical skills, web design and more.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Your business will collaborate with a group of students from a digital media production course. These students will work in teams to create a range of marketing assets tailored to your brand's needs. Ideally, these will be groups of 3-4 people.


The assets they design will include social media graphics, digital ads, website visuals, and email templates. Additionally, they will develop a content calendar to help you plan and schedule the release of these materials effectively.


Their goal is to ensure all materials align with your brand's personality and effectively direct customers toward a key piece of content, such as a sale or a featured product.


The students will submit a summary document that includes all the assets they've created, along with the content calendar, providing you with high-quality visual content and a structured plan for implementation.


This project offers your business a unique opportunity to receive custom-designed marketing materials and part of a content strategy, all while supporting the practical education of aspiring marketers/designers.


Timeline:

Students meet with partners anytime between Nov 4 - Nov. 17.

  1. Work will be created between Nov. 19th - Dec. 13th.

Requirements

Learners in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.


Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 

-website audit and/or improvement

-social media campaign planning and/or execution

-marketing plan development, refinement, execution

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.

Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly drop-ins to address learners’ questions as well as periodic messages over the duration of the project.
