Teams apply the most appropriate International Commercial Terms (Incoterms ® 2020) to transfer the cost and risk when moving goods from the seller to the buyer. Students will be well prepared to develop most efficient and effective routing plans based on international shipping hubs and patterns. These capabilities will offer a competitive advantage that today’s global organizations need.
Learners
Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project and company needs. Students are prepared for research reports and executive presentations of their findings. Project scope would include deliverable by the final date of the project.

Project Examples
Requirements
Students in teams of 5-6 will work with your organization to analyze the problem of your choosing and develop actionable recommendations or plans for improvements.
Project areas that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Supply Chain Management & Logistics
- Trade & Transportation services
- Freight forwarding and key documentation
- Improving efficiency and determining routing and storage factors for international shipments
- Long haul and short haul delivery operations
- Land transportation, air and ocean freight
- Trade routes compatible with intermodal shipments
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Provide a dedicated contact who will communicate with students over the duration of the project. A secondary contact should be provided as a backup.
Be available to attend the student's final presentations either in-person or virtually.
Be available for a short phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course
