Some examples of topics are below, but I am open to discussing other possible topics - please reach out with your ideas!

As a partnering organization, you'll be asked to contribute to the problem formulation and the scope of the students' project. What would be the most impactful format for the PSA for your organization? Who are your stakeholders? All students in the class will complete the project and peer review each other's work. Only the top submissions will be passed on to the client for their feedback.

Is distracted driving an issue that matters to you or your client base? Students will learn about the distracted driving issue in a sociological context, with a focus on finding relevant research substantiating this as a public safety issue. They will use their in-class learning, their own experience, and their creativity to develop an effective Public Service Announcement against distracted driving.

Is social media, teens, and mental health an issue that matters to you or your client base? Students will learn about the effects of social media and socialization, and how media affects the health of adolescents. They will use their in-class learning, their own experience, and their creativity to develop an effective Public Service Announcement highlighting the issues and what can be done to help.
