Learner goals and capabilities

This service learning course will provide an opportunity for you to work with our talented internationally educated health care professionals (nurses, dentists, doctors, physiotherapists, mid-wives, medical lab technologists and pharmacists).

Our students are eager to interact with various health care professionals and clients within a Canadian health care context. Through interactions with various clients and different health care professionals, the students will have the opportunity to communicate virtually with your clients, staff, and address your organization's needs.

These students are in their 4th & final semester, & they are fluent in multiple languages: English, Punjabi, Hindi, Gujarati, Spanish, Tagalog & Bisaya. They are interested in increasing their knowledge of "real life" Canadian health care. However, they are not licensed health practitioners in Canada. Groups of 1 - 5.
