Complete strategic qualitative and quantitative marketing and program evaluation research. Students consult with clients to refine the scope of the work to be completed and develop a research project proposal that is aligned with an organization's strategic plan for innovation and growth. Students then complete the research project. Once data collection and analysis are completed, the students provide clients with actionable insights.

Project Deliverables:

  1. A research proposal for client approval that addresses a client's research requirements and documents the research design, sampling method, and data collection tools to be used
  2. Preparation of engaging data visualizations from data collected and analyzed.
  3. Deliver a presentation that provides actionable insights
  4. Prepare a report that documents the project background, methodology, key results, and conclusions.

Requirements

Project examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing Research: Gain a competitive edge through consumer behaviour and economic trend research
  • Program Evaluation: Formative and summative evaluation of your programs
  • Eyetracking Web Site Research: Gain insights into how website visitors engage with your web content
  • Eyetracking Packaged Goods Research: Assess the effectiveness of the design of your consumer product packaging

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions or provide additional information.

Minimum of 10 interactions with the students in-person or remotely (approximately 10 hours over the duration of the project).

Allow meetings (virtual or physical) and/or emails with the team as needed and mutually agreed to answer ongoing questions.
