Expected outcomes and deliverables

The expected format for deliverables can be negotiated, however, some form of written format or visual presentation would be ideal. Whatever the end product is, the employer should be able to provide final feedback on each team's project once completed. Outcomes include students learning about team collaboration, professional communication, taking and applying feedback, and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Students could work on a range of projects from various industries and skill types. Because students can be from any major, ideal projects are focused on fundamental career skills such as written and verbal communication or project management and development.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Are you available to meet with the class (virtually or in-person) at the beginning of the project to review the project deliverables and expectations?

Are you available to provide each team with basic feedback or course correction midway through the project?

Are you able to review the final project submission and provide feedback to students?

Do you understand that these students are most likely 1st and 2nd year bachelor-level students who may just be beginning their career journey? Will this work for your project?
