Students in this course are eager to apply what they learnt to help companies to research the target market's macro-environment, evaluate the feasibility of expanding your product/service into the foreign market, and recommend the most suitable entry mode.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Each team will submit TWO deliverables:

1) A 5 to 12-page report containing an executive summary, the target country's business environments, feasibility of expanding the product/service into that country, and recommendations on the best entry mode.

2) A PowerPoint slide deck to present the findings of 10 to 20 mins in case the client wants a presentation.

Requirements

The project will examine a foreign target market from economic, cultural, political, legal, and ethical perspectives to help a company understand what they might get into. It will conduct an assessment on the fit between the product/service and target market (and its sub-markets). Based on the research and analysis, the students shall provide an recommendation on what the best entry mode will be for your company's business.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
