If the industry company provides a good industry problem for student projects, students can work out some creative solutions within their capabilities (for APSC140). Design drawings or 3D models will be produced by students in APSC 130.

Creative solutions, CAD drawings of designs (2D layouts or 3D models). A prototype can be printed with 3D printers from 3D modeling.

Requirements

In the past student projects, we designed chairs, airplanes, boats and constructions vehicles. Some of 3D models were printed using 3D printers.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.

The company must grant the permission to students and the instructor to use the information provided by the company freely. Students and the instructor can publish their work without restrictions. Students are allowed to put this experience on their CVs.
