wireless networks consulting sensors troubleshooting (problem solving) researchNetworks, and increasingly wireless networks, are becoming the hub of commercial and industrial development across the world. At the heart of the wireless world is Wireless Information Networking (WIN), and the growing need for professionals who can develop and implement solutions for the configuration and integration of wireless devices.
Capturing data from wireless sensors or wireless synching of mobile devices within secure environments are only a couple of the types of wireless information networking challenges facing businesses, government and organizations today.
Working with Fleming College offers a unique opportunity for businesses to tap into the expertise of our talented and motivated students. Learners in this program/experience will apply their technical knowledge and skills to complete a real-world business challenge focusing on the design, planning, implementation, operation and troubleshooting of wireless networks.
Fleming students bid on projects in their second semester and complete the bulk of the work on the project through semesters 3 and 4. Over the course of semesters 3 and 4, student groups have 250 hours to dedicate to the project. Student groups working with intellectual property or confidential information are asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
How It Works:
- Send a match request: Share your business challenge and project details with us using the Riipen platform.
- Student Match: Our students bid internally on projects by indicating their preferred 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice. The faculty then matches your project with the most suitable students based on their expertise and interests. Please note that our program cannot guarantee that a project or business challenge will be selected by students.
- Consulting Engagement: Students collaborate with you to develop and deliver strategic recommendations over a set timeframe.
- Final Deliverables: You receive a comprehensive report backed by research and analysis.
Learners
Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization.
Some final project deliverables might include:
- A final presentation on key findings and recommendations
- A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations
