Being a Grant Writer with Barks of Love was a great experience! In this role, I learned so much about the process of grant writing and gained a lot of professional experience. Ashley is so kind and easy to work with, she went out of her way to explain new tasks to me and recognized my strengths as a writer allowing me to flourish in those areas. This project also allowed me to work on a wide range of tasks with a mix of writing and creative work.
