Details

Our agency is deploying a new CRM system and requires a security model to protect our data’s integrity and privacy, as well as support efficient data access and use. We seek to combine role-based security, record-level security and field-level security to define the overall security rights of users within our system.

The project:

The candidate or team will create a security model that organizes users by roles and responsibilities (or tasks performed) and accompanying sets of privileges/access. These privileges by role must be predefined, with aggregates related to sets of users simplifying security management.

Deliverables:

  • Categorize users by role, in order to restrict access based on those roles
  • Provide users with the access to the appropriate types of information required to do their jobs (while preventing user access to records they do not own or share)
  • Support data sharing so that users and/or teams can be granted access to protected records for a specified collaborative effort
