The main goal of this project is to have volunteers log specific demographic information in criminal articles that will help us with our humanizing language project. Using the Chicago Justice Project's architecture, the volunteers can go through articles and help us save this information.

Deliverables
  1. Spend at least 5 hours on the architecture logging demographic information from the articles, as well as information about the topic, time the incident occurred, and news agency the topic came from.
Mentorship

Any volunteers will be provided with contact information if they have any questions. We also have a slack channel that we can add them to.

Supported causes
Peace, justice and strong institutions
