By the end of the project, students should be able to create a comprehensive report on:
- How to get into retail stores in Canada
- All certifications and permits needed to sell packaged food in retail stores in Ontario and Canada.
- Packaged food safety laws in Ontario and Canada.
- Ingredients and foods not allowed to be imported into Canada.
- Ingredients and foods not allowed to be included in products sold in Canada.
- Food allergens, ingredients, and preservatives that must be labeled.
Final deliverables should include:
- A written report of the research and findings, including all sources.
