The Academic Outreach Project aims to establish Kasi Insight as a trusted provider of real-time African data for academic institutions in the US and Canada. This includes promoting our platform to universities, building partnerships with key stakeholders, and driving subscriptions from students, faculty, and libraries.

Deliverables

1. Market Research and Strategy Execution

  • Research and identify key universities, African Studies departments, and interdisciplinary programs as potential clients.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive outreach strategy tailored to the academic market.
  • Identify and engage with academic associations such as ASA and CASA for partnership opportunities.

2. Content Development

  • Work with internal teams to create compelling content, including blog posts, case studies, and white papers.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials such as email templates, social media posts, and webinar presentations.
  • Develop educational resources for faculty and students to showcase the value of real-time African data.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct direct outreach to professors, researchers, and university library decision-makers.
  • Build relationships with African Studies associations, research centers, and faculty advocates.
  • Organize webinars, workshops, and events to engage academic stakeholders.

4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track key performance metrics, including subscriptions, webinar attendance, and engagement rates.
  • Provide weekly updates to the management team on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.



Expected Deliverables

  • A database of target academic institutions and stakeholders.
  • At least three successful academic partnerships with universities or associations.
  • Completion of two webinars/workshops with high attendance and engagement.
  • Creation and dissemination of at least five pieces of academic-focused content (blogs, case studies, etc.).
  • Achieve a target number of subscriptions from faculty, students, or university libraries.
