power bi data science data analysis application programming interface (api) scalability curl dashboard templates
Details

The main goal of the project is to develop Power BI dashboards that can retrieve data from various API endpoints created by the data science team at Sofvie. The aim is to create customizable templates that can be used by clients to create their own dashboards. The problem that the students will be solving is to design and implement a user-friendly and efficient dashboard that can display relevant data insights to the clients. The expected outcome is a functional and scalable dashboard solution that meets the needs of our clients.

Deliverables

To achieve the project goal, the students will need to complete the following tasks:

  1. Understand the API endpoints and the data that can be retrieved from them
  2. Identify the relevant data points that need to be displayed on the dashboard
  3. Develop a Power BI dashboard that can fetch data from the API endpoints using curl or other appropriate technologies
  4. Design and implement user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards that meet the needs of the clients
  5. Test the dashboard solution to ensure that it is scalable and functional
  6. Document the development process and provide training materials for clients to use the dashboard templates
  7. Collaborate with the data science team at Sofvie to ensure that the dashboards accurately reflect the data insights
  8. Provide regular updates and feedback to the Sofvie team to ensure that the project is progressing as planned.

The students may also need to perform additional tasks depending on the specific requirements of the project.

Mentorship

To support students in completing the project, we will offer the following:

  1. Regular meetings with the Sofvie team to discuss project goals and progress, and to provide feedback and support as needed.
  2. Access to relevant API endpoints and data sources, as well as documentation to ensure that students have the necessary resources to complete the project.
  3. Access to development environments and infrastructure required for the project.
  4. Regular feedback and evaluations of student work to ensure that they are on track to meet the project goals and deadlines.
