Are you a golf and data enthusiast? Then this project is for you.

Research, create and structure data on golf ball distance in yards, per club (Driver to PW) and per mph of swing speed (80 mph to 120 mph). Additional variables of temperature, wind direction and altitude will require additional relational database structure.

The output of this project will be to produce the adjusted yardage from any combination of the above data variables.

For example, a person with 100 mph driver swing speed will carry the ball 241 yards with zero wind and 24 C. If the same player is playing at 2000 ft altitude, in 10 C and a headwind of 10km, how much carry distance (in yards) will be lost or gained?

The answer:

Baseline carry yardage: 241yds + 6yds (altitude) - 5yds (temp) - 8yds (wind) = 234 yds (net loss of 7 yds in these conditions)
