We are a boutique financial services firm that focuses on retirement and financial planning for institutional clients with a focus towards public education employees. Our firm target markets to our niche client. We would like to better understand our clients interests, goals and preferences.

We would like to collaborate with students to develop a survey that can generate accurate data for future decision-making.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Conducting background research on our products and customers.
• Researching platform options to conduct the survey.
• Identifying the most suitable survey platform for our company.
• Recommending multiple-choice and short-answer questions to gauge customer opinions.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Testing and improving the questionnaire based on feedback.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of our products and customers
• Understanding of different survey platforms
• Identification of the most suitable survey platform for our company
• Recommendations for questions to include in the survey

Bonus steps would include:

• Improving the survey based on testing results

Final deliverables should include

• A fully completed questionnaire
