sales strategy affiliate marketing certified financial planner sales research certified human resources professionalWe are growing our business by developing a suite of educational workbooks (both paperback and digital). The problem students will solve is determining how to pursue various potential sales strategies. Specifically, the main goal is to conduct research regarding the following potential sales strategies and by the end of the project, provide a report that teaches us about these strategies and recommends how to proceed with each.
1) Online affiliate programs
2) Canadian academic market sales (i.e., universities and colleges)
3) Continuing education credits
By the end of the project, the report should answer questions such as:
1) Online Affiliate Programs
· What affiliate programs/software options exist?
· How does each option work (e.g., features, commissions)?
· What are pros and cons of each option?
· Based on above, how would you recommend we set up an affiliate program?
2) Canadian academic market sales
· What are the main textbook publishers in Canada?
· How do textbook publishers sell to professors (e.g., sales reps, discounts)?
· Do freelance academic market sales reps exist?
· What is the process once a professor decides on a textbook?
· Based on above, how would you recommend we sell to this market?
3) Continuing education (CE) credits in Canada
· Which professions require CE credits? For example, Certified Financial Planner, Certified Human Resources Professional, Regulated healthcare professionals
· How does an organization become a designated provider of CE credits?
· Based on above, what would you recommendation regarding CE credits?
Students will connect directly with the employer throughout the project via email, phone, and/or zoom as often as they like.
Also, please note: although we have indicated a timeline with start and finish dates, we are flexible. If students can let us know the timeline that works for them, we can likely adjust the dates.
