key performance indicators (kpis) spatial data infrastructures data science python (programming language) statistical methods matlab mathematics data visualization reliabilityWe're a sports tech performance company and we'd like students to help analyze our datasets and pipeline to generate useful insights from the data we collect.
From this analysis, we hope to visualize data collected from hardware to test reliability/validity by taking raw data to display in a real-world viewpoint
We are working with temporal-spatial data that will be given to the students at various stages of our analysis and they will work with a top level data scientist/analyst (PhD) to:
- Use various mathematical and statistical methods to transform data
- Use tools/visualizations to view data.
Student(s) must have the ability to code in python, MATLAB, and/or react.
Please apply/contact for more information.
Primarily the students will be responsible for creating reliable data visualizations that integrate into our data science pipelines in order to:
- Identify noise in data from sensors
- Verify accuracy of data in reflecting what is happening in the real world
- Combine datasets to assist in identification of relationships between data
- Visualize and present KPI and Key Insights
Students will work directly with the Founder/CEO and the Head of Data (PhD Physics, MBA Technology Management) yet will be given autonomy within the project to express themselves/learn/contribute.
About the company
Preception means “a taking beforehand”. It is the ability to see, decide, and act, and doing so more quickly than your opponent is the difference between victory and defeat. It is the common thread of Wayne Gretzky, Lionel Messi, and elite Special Forces. Our portable technology platform gives organizations the ability to train, measure and analyze preception in their existing, dynamic team training environments. This results in athletes being a full step ahead of their opponents in as little as 4 hours of training.
