Overview:

Agora Connections operates with 8 subcontractors, 2 co-owner partners, 1 sales advisor, 1 sales representative, and 3 external business partners. We currently use Odoo ERP for business management. However, as we grow, we need to enhance Odoo’s capabilities by integrating AI-powered features to automate and optimize project scheduling, CRM workflows, Sales, and resource management.

This Riipen project invites graduate students to leverage existing AI tools, software, and platforms to build a solution that enhances the Odoo ERP system. The goal is to create a scalable, efficient, and user-friendly AI-driven project management tool while avoiding the need for building all functionalities from scratch.


Project Goals:

Leverage Odoo ERP: Build upon Agora Connections’ existing Odoo platform, customizing and integrating additional features tailored to our operations.

AI-Powered Enhancements: Use existing AI tools (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Google AI, or similar) to implement smart features such as:

  • Automated project scheduling based on deadlines, team availability, and client needs.
  • Predictive analytics to forecast project timelines and resource needs.
  • AI-powered client relationship management to streamline communication and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.

Task and Workflow Automation: Automate repetitive tasks such as reminders, reporting, and team notifications through AI and Odoo workflows.

Modular and Scalable Design: Ensure the solution integrates seamlessly with Odoo's existing ecosystem while being flexible enough to accommodate future needs.



Deliverables

Approach:

Students will analyze Agora Connections’ operational needs, then develop a solution that combines:

  • Odoo ERP customization: Using Odoo’s built-in development tools and modules to enhance functionality.
  • Integration of Existing AI Tools:
  • Scheduling AI: Tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI Scheduling or Google Calendar APIs to automate task assignments and meetings.
  • CRM AI: AI chatbots (e.g., OpenAI’s GPT models or HubSpot AI tools) for customer communication.
  • Data Insights: Predictive analytics tools like Tableau AI or Google Data Studio.
  • Project Management AI Tools: Leverage platforms like Asana, Monday.com, or Smartsheet (integrated with Odoo) for visual dashboards and collaborative task management.

This project requires expertise in:

  1. Enterprise Software Integration: Understanding of Odoo ERP and experience in customizing modules.
