Petit Soleil is looking for an administrative whiz who can help us in all aspects of systematizing a start-up's operations so that we can scale our business! We are a local business that needs to attract local customers online and in our 2 consignment locations. We also run a digital course that we target Canada-wide.

The primary project requirements include:

1. Finalizing the set up of our Quickbooks bookkeeping and create a standard process for keeping it up to date and accurate.
2. Setting up a CRM so that many customer "touches" can happen authentically yet in an automated fashion. This includes customers of our tangible goods (plants and prints) as well as students of our online course.
3. Setting up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to coordinate curbside pick ups, deliveries, shipping -- all whilst managing several products that have different production process and timelines (and plants that need to be cared for and cleaned up).

Medium to advanced knowledge of Shopify and/or Quickbooks is necessary.

• Petit Soleil Studio is the first name people recommend for beautiful plants, handmade and natural supplies, advice, and experiential learning opportunities in Durham Region
• Our premier course, Plant Killer Rehab, is what people think of first when they or their friends are discouraged in their plant parenting journey.

This will be a Level Up intern position with some day to day supervision. I am a formally-trained teacher and have mentored over 20 university-level interns in my former role working with a social enterprise. Working with me will be a positive and enriching experience.

We’re based out of Whitby, Ontario and consign our plants in two locations.
