The project may include, but is not limited to:
- Collaborates with dispatching coordinator to implement new item forecasts to ensure proper flow of order fulfillment.
- Identifying potential products that align with our current customer base.
- Manage and maintain forecasts, promotional & bridge sales adjustments that accurately reflect sale trends to generate appropriate inventory level product allocations to maximize sales.
- Provide proper and timely forecasts that will support vendor replenishment orders.
- Implement unique/custom sales plans as required (i.e. hyper seasonal and trending items).
- Utilizes Forecasting reports to troubleshoot issues and effectively solve them using sound business judgment
- Review forecast accuracy to prioritize categories or brands requiring additional attention.
- Determine, implement, and maintain settings in Demand/Forecasting application to ensure business objectives are met while optimizing product flow.
- Create plans for replenishment orders ensuring the wholesalers and customers receive the right product at the right time.
- Make recommendations, develop tools or automate processes to optimize the forecast / inventory / replenishment processes.
- Develop and manage replenishment strategies to ensure overall product objectives for inventory, turns, and in-stocks are met, while taking into consideration the format, volume and demographics.
The final project deliverables are:
- A brief report detailing your research, recommended solutions, and an implementation plan.
- A Replenish Handbook outlining the recommended sales process and strategy, including scripts for sales emails and calls.
- A short presentation on the contents of the report and handbook.
It should assist our inventory and sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will ensure in-time order fulfillment. The insights that you provide will help our team improve lead generation and increase conversion rates to drive more sales.
