Details

Working with students, we would like to create and publish a season of video interviews that can be used as podcasts to help bring awareness, education, and information to the public about important health-related issues around dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Through the production of video and audio recordings, the objective is a fully produced season of episodes that includes professional video interviews, podcasts, and social media collateral. This is a project for students to collaborate with our organization to generate, edit and publish high-quality content that builds meaningful connections and promotes awareness of the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.

Deliverables

Students could accomplish the following:

  • Script development based on project goals
  • Set up and operation of audio and video equipment provided by AS AB NT for professional quality results
  • Provide feedback to participants during recording based on production best practices
  • Edit the recorded audio and video for final publication as a streaming podcast, YouTube video, etc.
  • Provide recommendations on increasing listenership and organic social media growth
  • Assist with management of social media related to the podcast
  • Measure and report on post production metrics.
Mentorship

Students will be onboarded to the Society for a well-rounded understanding of our mission and vision. Throughout the project, students will be provided with support to meet the project timelines in a collaborative team environment. Students will connect directly with the Marketing and Communications Manager for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

Hardware, software and audio/visual tools, and resources will be provided by AS AB NT.
