RennelCo is a Toronto-based consulting company dedicated to empowering healthcare and community organizations through innovative solutions. This project aims to develop an online course that equips Canadian high school students with the skills to build a professional LinkedIn profile and leverage the platform for career advancement. We would like to work with students to create engaging, relatable content while offering valuable experiential learning opportunities in educational design and digital media production.

Tasks include:

• Conduct research on LinkedIn best practices and draft engaging course scripts tailored for high school students.
• Create visually appealing slides, graphics, animations, and edit video content for the course.
• Test the course with a focus group of students, gather feedback, and refine content based on their input.
• Develop sample LinkedIn profiles to demonstrate effective setups for various career interests.
• Assist in creating promotional materials and a plan to connect with high schools and student organizations.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Ability to design engaging and relatable instructional materials.
• Skills in creating professional multimedia content, including slides, graphics, and video editing.
• Understanding of effective promotional strategies and engaging with target audiences authentically.

Bonus steps would include:

• Reviewing existing LinkedIn learning training materials and recommendations for course improvements

Final deliverables should include:

• Complete course materials including scripts, multimedia assets, and practical examples for all modules.
• Sample LinkedIn profile(s) tailored for different high school career paths.
• Marketing assets including promotional graphics, short video for social media , and/or an outreach plan targeting high schools and student organizations.
