We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our core values, marketing goals, and customer expectations. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

Background:

Our first product is called SideKick Card (www.sidekickcard.com) and it's a financial solution for international students and their parents. We are looking for help with creating content for blog posts with the goal to (A) teach students how to manage their money, and (B) advise parents how to teach their kids financial literacy. Although these topics might seem boring at first, we would like to demystify them and make them interesting enough for parents, teenagers and kids. On top of that, we would like help with creating engaging content for our social media channels (@sidekickcard).

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

• Understand and align with our core values and take the time to get to know our product/audiences
• Write blog articles, social media captions and other content pieces on assigned topics
• Assist with content for email sequences, presentations, and marketing materials

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including posts, video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

A student or team with excellent writing skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.

You will be mentored directly by our Marketing Director and will have constant team collaboration and feedback from our Sales Director and Digital Marketer. You will also join our virtual get-togethers and happy hours to fully connect with our team members.

Students will be added to our Slack and will have access to the mentor and other members of the company during business hours in Vancouver. We are usually online from 9 am - 5 pm PST.
