Our team is looking for three social media marketing wizards who can help us drive more traffic and improve our SEO positioning for our new site: OneSmallStepSk.ca. The primary project requirements include 3 x 80 hours of work to build the following:
- Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization
- A strategy document to outline:
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords
- Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and shares and to drive traffic to our site
- Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site
- Creating engaging content for prominent media websites
- Working to create a strategy that brings more visitors to the work we're doing.
We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to achieve:
- Creative content for social media, increase our followers on social media, drive traffic to our website, search for the key words to optimize our site's rankings.
This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.
We will offer five hours of mentorship as part of the Level UP program, and we will be available throughout the 80 hours to connect with and to oversee your work.
About the company
We want to connect local donors with local non-profits in order to solve issues in our community that exist right now.
Our site came about because we realized there was a disconnect between the community, nonprofits and the work non-profits do.
Much of this became very clear after two community members experienced what it was to live as if they were homeless through the The Sanctum Survivor Challenge.
After the 36-hour-challenge these two community members wanted to give back to the organizations that helped them, and it was a lot harder than they thought it should be. One Small Step Alliance was created.
We believe there should be an easier way to connect so we spent countless hours listening to community members, asking advice, doing surveys, researching, and listening to non-profits so that this space truly serves what is needed, always keeping in mind that we didn't want to recreate something already in place.
