PROJECT DETAILS:

We’re looking for a student to help us source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement. In general, work will also be done to help grow our brand, establishing ourselves as a market leader across Canada, and responding to demand for our services. Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following:

  • Operations
  • Social Media Management: overseeing different channels that we own and keeping them up-to-date
  • Content Development
  • SEO
  • Other marketing-related tasks

Daily activities can include: researching, creating strategic documents, or writing blog posts! One example of work you may do is helping to put together a custom proposal for drone training on an indigenous reserve. As a small company, opportunities arise quickly, and being able to get the job done to support those opportunities is essential. We expect hard work, but are a silly and fun-loving company that will help you to grow and become a valuable member of the team!

Mentorship

Readily available by email & phone (texting preferred)

Hover operates a scrum style, so our team meets daily in order to go over objectives and align ourselves, and to catch up! Its usually 5 minutes and is more of a social call than an official meeting.

Bi-Weekly meetings with the Professor to review progress and plan for the upcoming weeks.

Current data collection solutions are too costly, inefficient, and lack a network supporting them.

In addition, we have been operating as a marketing firm providing drone services to commercial real estate clients for over 3 years. From planning fleets to photography, we do it all to help business' get the benefits of drones, without all the hassle of insurance, regulation and training.
