Digital Human Library (dHL), in collaboration with 4Canoes and the International Indigenous Speakers Bureau (IISB) are helping to elevate Indigenous voices, perspectives and insights in primarily non-Indigenous spaces by offering K-12 Canadian school districts with access to Indigenous Professional Learning Programs, authentic Indigenous-authored content, and a new library of Indigenous educational videos. We are looking for a student to help us develop a corporate sponsorship program to help fund these Indigenous educational resources for K-12 school districts across Canada.

Phase 1: Corporate Sponsor Relations; K-12 School District Relations; Corporate Outreach Strategy; District Outreach Strategy

Phase 2: Program Implementation; Measuring Results; Reflection and Reporting; Community Building

Deliverables

Students will be responsible for:

  • Refining the process, pitch deck, and package for corporations to become sponsors
  • Refining the process, pitch deck, and package for school districts to apply for sponsorship
  • Implementing the corporate and school district outreach strategy
  • Defining and refining the process for monitoring and measuring the success of our program
  • Measuring success
  • Reflecting on the process and reporting on the successes, challenges, and failures, and making recommendations for the next iteration
  • Developing a Community Building plan to expand our program and attract more corporate sponsors (time permitting)
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the company CEO for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. Regular communication will take place via email, with meetings scheduled as needed for collaboration, ideation, problem-solving, and creation.
