The plan should also align with the company's mission of revolutionizing the food industry by harnessing the untapped potential of coffee fruit and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Researching the health-conscious consumer market and identifying potential product positioning strategies.
- Analyzing the potential of upcycled Coffee Fruit in different product forms and conducting market feasibility studies.
- Developing a financial forecast for the launch and operation of the chosen product(s).
- Creating a marketing and distribution strategy for the product(s) based on the target market and positioning.
- Outlining the sustainable and environmentally friendly aspects of the product(s) in the business plan.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- A comprehensive business plan for launching the novel food product(s) using upcycled Coffee Fruit, including market analysis, financial forecast, marketing strategy, and sustainability plan.
- Presentation materials for pitching the business plan to potential investors or stakeholders.
Final deliverables:
- A written business plan document.
- Presentation slides for pitching the business plan.
