Position - Health Informatics- Privacy Analyst

Project Background and Description:

FirstScreen is an employee health screening platform which quickly screens employees before they are allowed back in the workplace. We are a critical component of a WorkPlace Health and Safety program. Our software was MVP ready in Dec 2020. Our platform aligns to privacy legislation for both Canada and USA. FirstScreen has undergone a compliance audit to assess compliance among employees. The next phase addresses gaps and employee training.

Project Objectives/Outcomes/Deliverables:

Ensure all FirstScreen employees are 100% compliant with privacy processes.

Project Scope/Tasks:

Train employees who were not compliant to Privacy rules.

Implement new steps and seek attestment from employees

Meet with clients who may have questions for privacy policies for Personal Health Information.

Implement internal training schedule and highlight documents which require updating.

Preferred Skillsets:

· Solid foundation of Healthcare Information & Privacy guidelines

· Excellent Written and Oral communication skills

· Strong competency to document workflow charts.

· Experience in Information Technology an asset

· Well detailed and collaborative.

Eligibility/Compensation – Must be enrolled in 3rd/4thyear Post-Secondary Program in Health Information Science during employment period (Starting April 2020.)

Location: Remote 100%

Reporting into CEO, but will have access to internal Stakeholders such as IT/ Software developers.
