We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. Most of the content will be geared towards our upcoming Afrifursa Fintech Summit.

The Afrifursa Fintech Summit is a unique platform that brings together Canadian and African fintech ecosystems for mutual benefit. This virtual event draws over 400 attendees from over 38 countries. This year (2022) we're doing it bigger and better to deepen the connections between these fintech ecosystems.

We're an organization that is focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders for equitable exchange; we’re building shared value between Canadian and African stakeholders to achieve a more just and sustainable future.

If you're passionate about exploring the exciting and impactful opportunities between Africa and Canada, then this is for you!

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

• Research – desktop research on key topics including innovation and fintech
• Draft posts – synthesize research into short, sharp and memorable posts; liaise with Afrifursa SM Manager for final edits and posting
• Draft short articles – create short written pieces for social media, blogs and newsletters and other content pieces using Afrifursa video content and transcriptions; liaise with Afrifursa Event Manager for focus areas

• Onboarding session
• One weekly check-in meeting
• Adhoc meetings when requested by the student
• Regular email correspondence
