The student at Accelerate Her Future will be provided with an opportunity to develop an onboarding and learning and development for AHF's Amplifier student volunteers (our campus ambassador program). They will also have an opportunity to develop EDI, anti-racism and anti-oppression content and learning modules. This engagement will give interns an opportunity to work with a dynamic team within a collaborative environment.

The student will be exposed to a variety of skills and experiences to enhance their knowledge of community engagement, gender and racial equity, anti-racism, learning and development, instructional design and communication. We are a young startup and as a career accelerator for students and recent graduates we care deeply about mentorship. We will help our student succeed as much as we want them to help us enhance our volunteer onboarding experience. We are looking for a student who has creative vision, tenacity, drive, and sees possibilities in all things and who thrives at developing meaningful and impactful experiences for our student volunteer community.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

• Work with AHF's Community Engagement Lead to create an onboarding plan for AHF's Ambassador program
• Develop onboarding communication, content and learning and development material
• Create training modules and resource list
• Carry out other tasks related to this project

Who are we looking for? Ideally you have lived experience and ‘insider knowledge’ of the communities we serve at the core of our mission. You are inspired by our mission and like working within a collaborative environment. You value patience, respect, generosity, and good humour in your working relationships. Having an emerging understanding of intersectionality and gender and racial equity principles will be an asset.

The student will work closely with AHF's Community Engagement Lead. They will participate in a weekly one on one meeting for project status review and one on one mentorship.
