This project will involve analyzing existing CRM data points to predict the likelihood of a sales deal to close. Data points to analyze:

- Deal Owner (Who is responsible for the deal, how long they have been with our company etc.)

- Prospect Data (industry, location, current competitor product they are using etc.)

- # of Touch Points (meetings, emails, calls)

- Prospective Deal size ($$)

We would like you to construct a sales forecast on our behalf, based on their analysis.

Deliverables

The final project deliverable is a 10-page written report including:

  • Details of your forecasting analysis and insights (Example: Prospects in XYZ industry have a 90% close rate while ABC industry have a 70% close rate).
  • A model allowing us to input data and predict its liklihood of closing (excel model or application of sorts).
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project, including access to an employee with knowledge of our existing CRM datapoints.
