The main goal for the project is to successfully launch a new health food product using innovative ingredients like Coffee fruit, while ensuring it meets consumer taste and health needs. This project is for Caffe Berry Bar, a food and beverage company dedicated to creating innovative and environmentally sustainable products.


Deliverables


The tasks that learners need to complete to achieve the project goal include:


1. Market Research: Understanding customer preferences and industry trends through research.


2. Equipment Needs: Selecting appropriate kitchen tools and equipment to meet the target requirements for speed and production quantity.


3. Equipment Specifications: Evaluating equipment capacity, usage, and maintenance requirements to meet production quota.


4. Food Specification: Setting detailed ingredient standards for consistent quality which can be delivered by suppliers and contractors.


5. Food Cost: Managing ingredient costs to ensure profitability while meeting consumer taste and health needs.
