internet research researchWe are growing our business by developing a suite of educational workbooks (both paperback and digital). To raise awareness of the new workbooks, we are launching a new website. To provide our web visitors with added value, we are developing a resource section for the new website. The goal of the project is to develop a comprehensive list of educational resources to post on the resources section of our new website.
To achieve this goal, the students will have to:
- · Conduct online research to find appropriate educational resources,
- · Group the resources into categories (we will provide the category topics),
- · List each resource via a citation using a consistent citation style (we will provide the style), and
- · Provide ideas for additional topic categories, if any creative ideas come up.
Students will connect directly with the employer throughout the project via email, phone, and/or zoom as often as they like.
We will provide the students with a list of topic categories we would like them to find resources for. In addition, we have started compiling resources, so the students can use this as a starting point.
Also, please note: although we have indicated a timeline with start and finish dates, we are flexible. If students can let us know the timeline that works for them, we can likely adjust the dates.
About the company
Using plain language writing and editing, we make written information go from complex to clear without sacrificing creativity. Why? Because regardless of literacy level, education, ethnicity, and cognitive ability, everyone has the right to inclusive, accessible, and transparent information. Clear information is a civil right—we want to ensure people can exercise this right so that they can lead better lives.
Social equity is at the heart of plain language writing, so it is at the heart of our writing services. Whether hard copy or online, we make information easy to read, understand, and use. We develop everything from “How to” information for the public, patient and family education, thought leadership pieces, employee communications, marketing materials, and business-to-business content like white papers and case studies.
