The Afrifursa Fintech Summit is a unique platform that brings together Canadian and African fintech ecosystems for mutual benefit. The inaugural one took place in Sept 2021 and brought together over 400 attendees from over 38 countries. This year we're doing it bigger and better to deepen the connections between these fintech ecosystems.
We're an organization that is focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders and creating shared value; if you're passionate about exploring the exciting opportunities emerging markets offer Canadians then this is for you!
KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES/TÂCHES ASSOCIÉES AU PROJET:
- Building and segmenting a database of Canadian fintech stakeholders
- Developing an outreach strategy for each segment of stakeholders
- Reaching out to high potential stakeholders over email and setting up virtual meetings with Afrifursa's senior staff

Each student will have the following interaction with the Founder (Tapfuma):
- Onboarding session
- One weekly check-in meeting
- Adhoc meetings when requested by the student
- Regular email correspondence
