  • Investigate our competitive landscape;
  • perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target market
  • conduct customer surveys or focus groups to gain insights into the perceptions and behaviours of our target customers;
  • identify expansion opportunities; etc.

Our goal at the end of this experience is:

  • Market Research - For the student(s) to help me gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our platform aligns with our target sector/customer.
  • Strategic Plan - For the students to help me develop a post-COVID strategy to improve reviews and increase bookings.

I (Dawn) grew up in Ottawa. I wanted to open a B&B in Wakefield since the age of 15 years old.
After travelling and working all over the world for 8 years, my dream has come true! I have been in the tourism/hospitality industry for many years. The skills and experience I have will benefit our guests, ensuring great customer service, affordable rates and operating a very pleasant, clean establishment. My second dream was to have children who are Veronica & Bobby!
I am so blessed to be living the dream!
