value propositions apple ios web developmentThe party on the weekend ios/android app, currently in development, allows users to find nearby bars and lounges based on their music taste. By logging into the app with your Spotify or Apple Music account, you’ll get a list of venues that play your favorite genres of music. Users get to filter to where they want to get recommendations for making the app perfect for exploring new locations, or your own neighborhood.
We'd like to work with students to develop a new website to capture emails before we launch - Fall/Winter 2023. We currently have a very basic site built on squarespace, partyontheweekend.co, but we’d like to revamp it and incorporate more images and value propositions to help build excitement before launch.
The main goal of the website is to capture email addresses from potential users and showcase the main features of the app.
If possible, we’d love to test the website prototypes with customers and get feedback as well. We're currently on Squarespace but we’re open to going to a different platform if necessary.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
The ability to build a high-fidelity startup website to collect email addresses.
The ability to tell a compelling brand story on a website
The ability to design with the end user in mind
Final deliverables should include
- A website prototype for the app.
- A final report.
- Feedback from users, if possible.
Students will have direct access to us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be readily available to address queries, offer guidance, and provide insights on various aspects, including:
- Our existing product portfolio and website design.
- In-depth understanding of our customers and insights into the industry.
- Assistance with making decisions, solving challenges, or addressing any other issues the students might come across.
