We are developing a Marketing Plan to create 200 Farms in the next 2 years.

The plan is designed to market the following products:

  • Technology Sales of our Indoor Vertical Farming Hardware
  • Herbs, Greens, and Small Vegetables

Our Target Audience is:

  • Licensees of our technology
  • White Label purchasers of our equipment
  • Distributors who will purchase our Herbs, Greens, and small vegetables
  • Retail stores (Giant, Sobeys, Ralphs, Costco, Wal-Mart, small retailers ) who will purchase from the distributors
  • Food Service (MacDonald's, Panera, small retailers) folks who will purchase from the distributors
  • Food Manufacturers (Pickle makers, pesto makers, etc)
  • Consumers

Our Go To Market strategy includes:

  • Social Media with micro-influencers
  • Press relaseas
  • Web
  • Email
  • Print

We have created a general marketing plan, in which general outlines are presented. As we work in versions, there is always work to be done.

We operate using Agile Project Management.

We work in sprints working through User Stories connected to Epics.

  • Presentation skills for a business environment.

During this internship, students are treated as equals. We value their opinions and ask them to present their opinions so we can discuss the topics and potentially adapt our marketing plan accordingly. With the main benefit of seeing all aspects of a marketing plan and how it is developed, whilst giving interns the freedom to develop their skill set.
