Details

Our team is looking to take our social media presence to the next level in order to drive traffic to our app by building our social media strategy. To do this, we hope to extend our social media reach, create engaging content to promote our programs and highlight trails within our app.

This will involve several different steps for the student, including:

  • Research similar accounts, keywords and hashtags to find our future customer base. A focus on diversity is key.
  • Discover new trails to add to the platform and promote in social media content.
  • Engage with our customers and future customers to increase awareness of our platform.
  • Create engaging social media content in partnership with our marketing lead.

Extra Deliverables:

  • Student will create a list of accounts, keywords, and hashtags that they have discovered.

Project length:

- 80 hours

- over 10 weeks, 8 hours a week

- ex. dates: March 27 to June 5th

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of deliverables:

  • uploaded 10 trails (approx. 1 trail / week)
  • created 5-10 pieces of content for TikTok/Instagram (approx 0-1 piece / week depending on length)
  • engagement on Instagram to increase follower count by 1000.
  • Student will create a list of accounts, keywords, and hashtags that they have discovered.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. The student is required to meet once a week for 30-60 minutes to receive feedback and collaborate on the project with the TrailCollectiv team.

We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • What keywords, accounts, and hashtags are being used by our company now, and which ones have been used in the past?
  • Tips on how to grow social media accounts?
  • Information on our platform and brand image.
  • When and how much do we typically post on social media?
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
