PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Nimble Science has developed a novel ingestible capsule device for GI sample collection. The device allows exploration of the previously inaccessible areas deep in the gut. Nimble is interested to promote this device to customers from the pharmaceutical industry who could use this device for their clinical programs. The student will work with the CTO of the company to run an auditing on the clinical study data from a recently completed study and complete basic data analysis. 

Deliverables

KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES

Reviewing and ensuring the completeness of the clinical data collected by Nimble and its partners

Digitizing the clinical data to a spreadsheet

Conducting basic data analysis (similarity, correlation, etc) using the data on ongoing basis

Mentorship

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIESThe micro-placement student will be conducting the above project activities under supervision of the CTO and clinical coordinator. The student will be meeting with CTO/clinical coordinator on weekly basis (min 1 hour / week) to plan the project and solve problems along the road. This placement can be completed online or in-person. Our location is across from the university in the Life Sciences Innovation Hub at UCalgary.
