The main goal for the project is to create a business proposal for GOAT Vintage to upcycle returned/donated campus wear into new products for the campus bookstore. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Researching the process of upcycling and its environmental benefits.


- Analyzing the returned campus wear to determine potential new product ideas.


- Developing a cost analysis for the upcycling process.


- Creating a marketing plan to promote the new upcycled products to the campus bookstore.


- Presenting the business proposal to the company's leadership team.


Deliverables


By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


- Research report on the upcycling process and its environmental benefits.


- Product ideas and designs for the upcycled campus wear.


- Cost analysis for the upcycling process.


- Marketing plan including target audience, promotional strategies, and pricing.


- Business proposal presentation to the company's leadership team.

GOAT Vintage will supporting the learners in completing the project by providing regular meetings/check-ins to help guide the students, access to company data and resources, and the unique opportunity for learners to meet the CEO of the company is an invaluable experience that allows them to directly connect with a key decision-maker and leader. This meeting provides learners with the chance to engage in a personal and meaningful interaction with someone who has a deep understanding of the company's vision, values, and operations. It offers a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the organization, as well as the chance to learn from the CEO's experiences, expertise, and perspective on various topics.
