Details

The McMurray Group is seeking to enhance its lease management process by developing a comprehensive lease renewal tracking system using SharePoint and Power Automate. The current challenge involves managing over 50 property leases, which are currently tracked manually, leading to inefficiencies and potential oversights in renewal dates. The project aims to digitize old lease documents, create a centralized data sheet for all properties, and implement automated workflows to streamline lease management. By automating renewal notifications and document management, the system will ensure timely alerts for management, provide easy access to lease documents, and improve overall efficiency in handling lease renewals. This project offers learners an opportunity to apply their knowledge of SharePoint and Power Automate in a real-world scenario, enhancing their skills in digital transformation and process automation.

Deliverables

The project will deliver a fully functional lease renewal tracking system. Key deliverables include a digitized archive of existing lease documents, a centralized data sheet for 50+ properties, and automated workflows for renewal notifications and document management.

The system will be designed to alert management of upcoming renewal dates and provide seamless access to lease documents, ensuring a streamlined lease management process.
