We have a number of Projects all run using Agile Project Management.

We need Agile trained folks to work on tasks..

For example, we have created an LGS Ecosystem which consists of AWS databases, Arduino Hardware, Grow Units and Grow Rooms to create an Indoor Vertical Farming environment.

Our interns will be working together in teams that include hardware engineers, science analysts, and marketing folks. Giving everyone the whole perspective on how broad a company is.

During this internship, students are treated as equals. We value their opinions and ask them to present their opinions to discuss the topics and potentially adapt our marketing plan accordingly. The main benefit of seeing all stages of development is giving interns the freedom to develop their skill set.

Deliverables

Some example deliverables that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creation/improving the database
  • Creation/improving the apps
  • Instruction video of how to use the software

The roles require a commitment of 80 Hours with at least 20 hours a week for 4 weeks.

Skills students will develop:

  • Project management
  • Communication in a virtual environment
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira and AWS
  • Taking responsibility
  • Presentation skills for a business environment.
