The tasks that learners need to complete to achieve the project goal include:
- Conducting job analysis and posting positions
- Updating ATS systems and screening applicants
- Scheduling and participating in interviews
- Assisting in training & development initiatives including onboarding and new hire orientation
- Updating employer handbooks and policies
- Researching HRM best practices
- Administering payroll and producing statistical and employee engagement reports
- Supporting Health and Safety or Wellness initiatives
- Assisting with disability management activities
- Data entry in various HR activities
- Supporting Labour Relations activities or preparation for bargaining
- Assisting in employee engagement surveys
- Supporting employee performance and relations initiatives
Final deliverables should include:
- Updated job postings and ATS systems
- Training and development schedules and materials
- Updated employer handbooks and policies
- Research reports on HRM best practices
- Payroll administration records and statistical reports
- Support documentation for Health and Safety or Wellness initiatives
- Data entry records for HR activities
- Labour Relations support documentation
- Employee engagement survey reports
- Employee performance and relations support documentation
Attend the kickoff meeting between the employer and learners to ensure everyone is on the same page about the project expectations.
Ensure learners understand the project scope by regularly reviewing the quality of their work.
Track team progress on the team page to ensure that learners are completing milestones and meeting deadlines.
